Our method

From an urgent problem to a lasting relationship

Five phases, in this order. Each ends with an identifiable deliverable and states explicitly what we need from you, so there is no hidden work on your side.

The first three phases deal with the problem that brought us in. The last two exist because fixing a flow means following it end to end — and that is when what the everyday hides becomes visible.

At a glance

The model
Enter through an urgent technical problem, solve it, then report what the work uncovered. The expansions are observed consequences, not a sales plan.
The phases
Diagnostic, remediation, discovery, expansion, partnership — in that order, each closing with an identifiable deliverable.
What you provide
A description of the symptom, the systems involved, and read access to the logs where the analysis needs it. Each phase states its own.
Commitment
Each phase stands alone. The diagnostic is yours, including if you have the fixes carried out elsewhere.
  1. Phase 1Diagnostic

We establish precisely what is broken, where the break happens, which systems are involved and what the failure actually costs.

    What we do

    • Mapping the real path an invoice or message takes, from issue to acceptance.
    • Analysing rejected messages and exchange logs against the applicable specifications.
    • Identifying the failure points: mapping, transformation, transport or validation.
    • Recording the manual interventions put in place to work around the problem.
    • Assessing the impact: late payments, rework, disputes, time consumed.

    What we need from you

    • Describe the symptom and, where possible, send us one rejected message.
    • Tell us which systems are involved and which partners are affected.
    • Give us read access to the exchange logs where the analysis requires it.

Deliverable : A map of the flows, the identified cause of each failure, and an ordered, costed remediation plan.

  2. Phase 2Remediation

We fix the urgent problem on your existing systems, through to an effective go-live.

    What we do

    • Reworking the mappings, transformations and validation rules involved.
    • Fixing at the source, including the upstream processing that produced the wrong data.
    • End-to-end testing on real cases, including the edge cases that were failing.
    • Supervised go-live and replay of the flows left pending.

    What we need from you

    • Validate the test cases representative of your business.
    • Bring in the partner-side or vendor-side contact where necessary.

Deliverable : A flow running in production, documented, with its rules and its behaviour on error.

  3. Phase 3Discovery

Fixing a flow means following it end to end. We document what that traversal reveals about the rest of your processes.

    What we do

    • Recording the human interventions encountered along the flow.
    • Identifying re-keying, duplicates and divergent master data.
    • Spotting checks redone by hand and recurring reconciliations.
    • Noting the enquiries or information that go unprocessed.

    What we need from you

    • Let us ask questions of the teams who use the process every day.

Deliverable : A list of observed frictions, each with what we saw and its estimated cost.

  4. Phase 4Expansion

We report what we found, with evidence. You decide what is worth addressing.

    What we do

    • Presenting the observed frictions, ranked by cost and by ease of resolution.
    • A targeted proposal for the ones that justify it — and nothing for the others.
    • An estimate of the expected gain and of what implementation involves.

    What we need from you

    • Decide: what you address with us, in-house, or not at all.

Deliverable : Proposals grounded in observations, not in a service catalogue.

  5. Phase 5Partnership

A technical partner who keeps finding and removing friction, at the pace of your own changes.

    What we do

    • Maintaining existing flows as your partners change their specifications.
    • Onboarding new partners, channels and systems as your needs evolve.
    • Monitoring processing and acting on failures.
    • Continuing the friction-removal work, one process at a time.

    What we need from you

    • Tell us about upcoming changes early enough to anticipate them.

Deliverable : Flows that stay working, and a friction list that gets shorter instead of longer.

Anumerik works on the technical implementation: mappings, data transformations, connectivity and integration. We do not provide legal or tax advice — your own advisers remain your reference on how the rules apply to you.

It all starts with phase 1

The diagnostic stands alone: the map and the remediation plan are yours, even if you then have the fixes carried out elsewhere.
